Arrest following 3 robberies

A man has been arrested following a robbery at a jewellers in the city centre yesterday afternoon.

Police are questioning him in relation to two other recent robberies of bookmakers in south Norwich.

Police were called to Aurum on Bedford Street just after 4pm yesterday.

A 29-year-old man from Norwich was arrested on suspicion of robbery.

He was also questioned in connection with robberies at Betfred on Hall Road on Wednesday 19th October, and at William Hill on Old Palace Road in Norwich on Friday 28th October 2011.
