A month-long celebration of wine comes to Norwich this September.
The aim: to get people to try something different.
Having given themselves a little more time to prepare the 32 day festival, this year Norwich Wine Festival have worked out a programme of events based on feedback from last year. This time, to get involved, you buy a festival programme which includes offers worth £100.
14 local venues have signed up including The Garden House, The Workshop, 103 Unthank and The Unthank Arms. The Garden House, for example, is hosting an afternoon of live music, wine and food on Saturday 3rd September, giving you a chance to try out some different wines.
One of the organisers, Emily Barclay said: “If you’re a fan of Pinot Grigio, why not give a Gavi or a Trebbiano a try? Both are still dry Italian white wines, but Gavi is full of soft fruit flavours, while Trebbiano tends to be light and crisp.”
