Residents have a chance to add their views on plans for a new football facility on parkland.
Local people can take part in a public consultation next Friday (18th June). The Norfolk County Football Association wants their views on plans to turn an area used by dog walkers into a floodlit football pitch.
The grass pitch would become part of the new Football Development Centre in Bowthorpe, which was officially opened by England international, Robert Green earlier this month. City College Norwich is an official partner of the centre.
The FA have been working with Norwich City Council on the plans. Shaun Turner, Chief Executive of Norfolk County FA says the pitch would allow the Norfolk County FA to stage county cup games, if they get the backing of the local community.
