A man’s due in court this morning, charged with allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control in a public place and cause injury.

The case in front of Norwich magistrates follows an incident in which a young boy was injured by a dog.

Police arrested 20 year old Nathan Atkins of Goldsmith Street in Norwich earlier this month.

A 44-year-old woman arrested in connection with the incident was released without charge and a second dog, which belonged to the woman, was returned.
