A crash involving two vehicles has closed a stretch of Earlham Road since 9 am this morning.
Police are beginning to allow some traffic through after clearing the two cars from the junction with Park Lane.
One woman driver has been taken to hospital, but was not seriously injured.
Concerns have been raised about visibility on this stretch of road, after an elderly cyclist was killed pulling out of Alexandra Road, opposite this junction, just over a year ago. The incident caused local councillors to ask how speeding could be reduced along that part of Earlham Road.
