Film makers seek single sex families

A film company is searching for families in south Norwich to take part in a documentary. The Cutting Edge film will focus on the differences between families made up of all boys… and all girls.

Minnow Films, based in London, are looking for single sex families with 3 or more children to take part in what they describe as a subtle, gentle documentary. The company will film the participants spending time with a different family, focusing on the differences between growing up in an all-boy family compared with a family made up of girls. The children need to be aged between 6-16.

The small independent production company have won awards in the past for their films, shown on the BBC and Channel 4. There are only a few weeks before the families who want to get involved are shortlisted. The final documentary for the series, Cutting Edge, is due to screened by end of the year.

Anyone interested in taking part should email sonsanddaughters@minnowfilms.co.uk
