Weather forecasters are warning of heavy downpours in south Norwich tomorrow – which could cause flash floods reminiscent of 1984.

In June that year, residents on Unthank Road found their street turned into a river following heavy rain.

According to the Met Office: “Rain is on the way. Dry weather through much of this month is expected to end as unsettled conditions move across the UK.”

Having just had a friend ask me for more information about the flash floods, feel we ought to own up to this being an April Fool. You can put your brollies away!
