Library opening times reduced

Opening hours of local libraries are to be reduced by an average of 10 per cent.

More than 8,000 people responded to the consultation. 

In south Norwich, many of the libraries will shut an hour earlier than they do currently. Library staff suggested this solution as a way to save money, without having to close any of the county’s libraries.
