Man charged following 3 robberies

A 29 year old man from Norwich has been charged with three counts of robbery, having been arrested at a jewellers on Tuesday.

Mark Barton has been charged with the offences following an investigation three separate crimes.

The most recent was at Aurum jewellers on Tuesday 1st November. Last month two bookmakers were robbed: William Hill on Old Palace Road on 28th October and Betfred on Hall Road on 19th October 2011.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Norwich Magistrates Court today.
