Man left unconscious on Earlham Road

Police are hunting two men who assaulted a couple as they walked along Earlham Road. A 25 year old man was knocked to the floor, kicked and left unconscious. The men then assaulted the woman he was with, only walking off when a taxi stopped to help. The attack happened at around 2 am on Saturday morning on Earlham Road, near the junction with Alexandra Road.

The offenders were in their twenties and both headed towards the city centre when the taxi stopped to help. Anyone with information should call PC Gooch at West Centre SNT on 0845 4564567 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
