New centre to open next month
There’s a chance to try out the UEA Sportspark’s brand new Gymnastics Centre next week.
Demand for courses is expected to be high when the centre opens in September.
Two full time coaches have been appointed, who are drawing up a programme offering different courses for various ages and abilities.
The brand new centre has foam filled pits, asymmetric bars/high bar, rings, parallel bars, beams, a pummel horse, fast track, tumble track, vaulting track, two floor level trampolines with rig, a sprung floor area, wall bars and mirrors.
The UEA Sportspark are holding two open days next week for members of the public:
• Thursday 1 September 4pm – 9pm
• Saturday 3 September 10am – 4pm
Course enrolment opens from 10am on Saturday 3 September. Courses start from Saturday 10th September. The Sportspark advise that places are limited, bookings must be made in person and will be taken on a first come first served basis.
