MPs face questions from older generation

Older people and their carers have a chance to question their MP, at a meeting next week.

Norwich’s 2 MPs, Chloe Smith(Cons) and Simon Wright (Lib Dem), will speak to the Older People’s Forum at a meeting next Thursday. The MPs will explain the government’s plans for older people and answer questions from the floor.

Older people living in Norwich, as well as anyone with an interest in issues affecting older people, is invited to come along and take part in discussions. Around a 100 people attended the last Older People’s Forum. The forum aims to influence the way services are planned and delivered, helping to maintain and improve the well-being of older people living in and around Norwich. The event is on 5th August at Blackfriars Hall from 10am-12.30pm.
