Impressed by the inventiveness this event inspires, we’ve picked out our Wheelbarrow Top Ten.

Nearly 2000 students took to the streets of south Norwich for Pimp my Barrow 2011.

The rules state one member of the team must be in the barrow at all times, as they make their way between 4 Golden Triangle pubs.

Our Number 1: the army jeep, closely followed by Virgin Atlantic, The Incredibles, NASA, HMS Barrow, RAF boys, Zoo, Mermaids, Thunderbirds and The Wizard of Oz.

Organisers hope to reach the £10,000 mark in aid of the Big C.

The Pimp my Barrow champion chosen by the organisers will be announced later tonight, after the wheelbarrow race in Eaton Park.
