A new headteacher has been appointed to lead a south Norwich primary school.
Steven Portas will join Eaton Primary School in January. He is currently deputy headteacher at the outstanding Sheringham Primary School. The school advertised for a new headteacher in May and held interviews last week for the post.
Victoria Macdonald, Chair of Governors at Eaton Primary School, said: “We are extremely pleased that we have been able to quickly appoint a talented and experienced headteacher in Steven Portas and are looking forward to working with him in the new year.” Jeremy Johns will continue as acting head in the interim period.
