Serious assault in local park

Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault in Chapelfield Gardens last Sunday.

A 37 year old was punched and kicked sometime between midnight and 4 am by four men, leaving him with serious facial injuries.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident and would particularly like to trace the person who called the emergency services.
