South Norwich targeted by campaign group

May 03, 2010, 11:56am By Claire Wood

Thousands of homes in south Norwich are being leafletted today by an independent campaign group, ahead of Thursday’s election. Power2010 is targeting the Norwich South constituency, urging voters to choose the candidate who’ll do the most for democratic reform if elected. They’re campaigning for measures such as introducing a proportional voting system, scrapping ID cards and making the House of Lords fully elected. Their website allows people to check where each Parliamentary candidate stands on electoral reform.
