The MP for Norwich South has secured a meeting with First following concerns over the changes to bus routes in the city.

Some UEA students, who had bought annual bus passes, returned on the first day of this term to find their route had been withdrawn.

Local people lined up to add their views at a drop-in session at the Belvedere Centre yesterday.

Many are fighting plans to change the layout of a junction on Dereham Road, arguing drivers would use their residential streets as rat runs as a result.

Some even threatened legal action, arguing their streets could be changed forever, if the proposals went ahead. Read More…
