Assault on Unthank Road
Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault on Unthank Road around 2am on Friday 7 May. A 38 year old man was walking along Unthank Road, opposite the Colman hospital, when a vehicle pulled up beside him to ask him for directions. As the victim went to speak to the passenger, a man got out of the back of the vehicle and assaulted him. He was left with facial injuries. Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

Witnesses wanted to fatal crash
A local man in his 30s died this morning when his car collided with tree just off Earlham Road. Shortly after midnight, a red Volvo hit a tree at the junction with Earlham Green Lane, near the Fiveways roundabout. Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Team are looking for witnesses who may have seen what happened.
