Church left legacy of thousands

A local family have given Christ Church in Eaton a gift of £40,000.

Park Lane church conversion unveiled

St Peter's Park LaneBold plans to transform St Peter’s Methodist Church on Park Lane have been drawn up.  The existing church would be re-designed, including a large theatre space for choirs, music or drama. Part of the buildings would be knocked down for flats and a cafe with outdoor seating. The church’s mission is to re-engage with the local community, drawing people back through its doors.

Cathedral bids to be player in big league

Work on a modern wing of St John’s is almost complete. The Narthex will provide a new focus for visitors to Norwich’s second cathedral.

According to the Cathedral Dean, Father James Walsh, the building is “a milestone on the journey to make St John’s a player in the big league among iconic buildings of Norwich. The cathedral has much to offer people of all faiths or none and every walk of life.”  Read More…
