Wanted: Entrepreneurs

To flourish, Norwich is going to need more entrepreneurs to start up new businesses.

This fact was acknowledged by Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills on a recent visit to Norwich Research Park and £25M in government funding is being ploughed into encouraging start-ups there.

To complement this, bursaries are now on offer for bright ideas… and a series of events are planned to help innovation flourish in key sectors locally.

Simon Coward, the county council’s Director of Innovation Hubs, takes us through what’s on offer over in our Opinion Section.

Rally heads for research park

They’ll travel by tractor, bike and bus to Norwich Research Park, to deliver some organic potatoes.
