One of Cringleford FC’s coaches will play at Wembley this weekend. Scott Howie’s team, Wroxham FC, have made history by getting through to the final of the FA Vase. Hundreds of supporters are expected to head for Wembley from Norfolk, including some of the young footballers he coaches.  Read More…

Playing field plans at Hewett School

Eight 5-a-side football pitches are in the pipeline to be built on The Hewett School playing fields. The facilities would be suitable for tag rugby, mini hockey and youth cricket. It follows a public consultation, approval from a Government Minister… and will now go before planners for a final decision.  Read More…

Norwich get promoted!

Norwich City have gained automatic promotion after a 0-1 win over Charlton Athletic. The goal was scored by defender Michael Nelson in the first half, leaving a nail-biting second half as fans waited for the final whistle… and confirmation they’d gone up. Just one more point will guarantee City finish league champions, with three games still to play. Celebrations are expected across south Norwich as fans look forward to returning to the Championship this summer.
