Work to transform a “bleak and unattractive park” on Vauxhall Street is finally underway and should be finished by Spring 2010.
The new Jenny Lind park reflects what residents said they wanted; a safe, open place everyone could enjoy. In a densely populated area that’s attracted anti-social behaviour in the past, many wanted to reclaim the park for local people.
